Tabata, discovered by Japanese scientist Dr. Izumi Tabata, is a form of HIIT (high-intensity interval training). Tabata intervals consist of four-minute segments with eight rounds of 20 seconds followed by 10 seconds recovery. History lesson wrapped up in a sweat session :)
